Craft and Canvas

After years of working in IT, Greg decided to retire.  At the end 2023, Greg and Mark, purchased Word of Mouth a craft store in Hebden Bridge. The premises moved to its currently location in early 2024 to give the business room to expand and offer an expanded range of Yarn and Art Supplies.  Sid the Punk Sheep their new logo was launched at the same time to give the new shop and brand a bit of a twist on traditional art, craft and yarn brands.

Rather than working with existing established brands, we prefer to work with local, ethical or both companies offering something that challenges run of the mill high street stores or existing online retailers. Whilst we stock some of the established brands, our unique set of products sets us apart.

Why Hebden Bridge?

The artistic community in Hebden Bridge and surrounding areas is large and we want to be seen as part of that community and to help that community thrive.
